What a weekend – classic cars galore! Wessex 4×4 Response was supporting the ‘Classic at the Castle’ in Sherbourne event. Our dedicated team played a crucial role in ensuring a seamless flow of traffic, preventing any road blockages from the main road into the entrance of the event.
With 6 responders present, we also provided visible patrols in the overflow car park, particularly after the rain. A big shoutout to our responder who successfully restarted a Maserati. Our commitment to supporting events like Classic at the Castle remains unwavering.
Now in its 18th year, Classic & Supercars at Sherborne Castle is one of the premier classic and supercar shows in the South of England. Featuring over 1,500 vehicles ranging from vintage and heritage cars to the latest supercars, the event has raised over £290,000 for national and local charities in recent years.
Visitors can explore motor club and trade stands, an autojumble, a craft fair, and a catering village. This year, the event celebrates 100 years of Triumph and takes place in the stunning setting of Sherborne Castle, surrounded by picturesque gardens and a historic lake.
