Meet Our Vehicle: Dean

My Vehicle:

Suzuki SJ413 JX, I rescued it from a barn in February 2019, just before the COVID-19 lockdown. At 36 years old, it hadn’t been on the road since 2006, with no keys or documents. It took a screwdriver and a can of easystart to get it running, a little bit of welding on the footwell, and a new clutch! Originally intended as a 2-3 year sympathetic restoration, the lockdown resulted in my furlough from work, allowing me to dedicate a lot of time to the vehicle. Three months later, it was road legal, and that’s when the modifications began!

Modifications:

  • 1.5in Lift OME Leaf Springs and Shock Absorbers
  • Weber Carburetter
  • Snorkel
  • CB Radio
  • VHF Handheld Radio
  • 1980’s Vauxhall Astra
  • Recaro Seats
  • Kill Switch/Tracker

  • Tools and Spare Parts inc Fan Belt
  • Waterproof Top and Bottoms
