Wessex 4x4 Response has updated our Callout Management System. We have also changed our Callout Number and the way that this is handled.
To contact our Duty Controller directly, please call our new number:
You will be directed to leave a Voicemail. This will be handled by our Callout Management System, which will immediately page our duty control team.
If there is sufficient information in the voicemail, our controller will put the closest teams on standby and will then call you to confirm that we have dispatched responders, or to confirm any further details that are required before dispatching responders.
Making this change should mean that we can make the best use of our shared resources, minimising the time you spend on the phone with us during what is inevitably a busy time for your team, and also minimising the time it takes to get our responders deployed.
Please note that we will check any use of these numbers with the duty officer of the calling agency before responding.
